Restore Shamefacedness
It is written in the Scriptures, “women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety.” The women of God are commanded by the Scripture to “adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety.” Even though this scripture is speaking to the women, the same applies to the men as well. This is not an option, it is a commandment. There are too many that are professing to be Christian dressing immodestly exposing their body. The reason why this is going on is because of a lack of shamefacedness. The reason why there is a lack of shamefacedness is because their is a lack of teaching about the shamefulness of nakedness. Jesus said, “be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear.“
Nakedness is shameful! This means that the people of God should not be adorning themselves with clothing that shows off their legs, arms, breasts, back, belly. Sleeveless shirts are not modest. Backless shirts are not modest. Short skirts are not modest. V neck shirts are not modest. Skin tight clothes are not modest. Long skirts with splits are not modest. Once shamefacedness is restored into the minds of the saints it will clean up the way they dress. Too many have left modesty because many have never truly learned to have shamefacedness. No shamefacedness, no modesty. That is what needs to be taught, SHAMEFACEDNESS, SHAMEFACEDNESS, SHAMEFACEDNESS. If everyone had shamefacedness the Ministry would not have to teach about dressing modestly, and there would be no fornication among God’s people. Do not be deceived by the devil’s children, nakedness is not beautiful it is shameful! Be ashamed of nakedness!
Scripture Quotes: 1 Timothy 2:9; Revelation 3:18
Stand At Your Altar!
[Revelation 8:3-4] And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
Last night at service the message was about prayer. One of our bishops was teaching and he quoted the verse above, and broke it down beautifully. He was encouraging the saints in our congregation that they must give themselves more to prayer. In the Tabernacle of Moses there was two altars. One altar was outside the Sanctuary, and the other altar was within the Sanctuary. The altar outside of the Sanctuary was for burnt offerings, and the altar within the Sanctuary was for burning incense. We are that Sanctuary, and the altar of incense is within us. The scripture teaches us that our prayers are the true incense.
[Psalms 141:2] Let my prayer be set forth before You as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
So, we have the altar of incense within us, and our prayers are the true incense. The scripture also teaches that incense was to burned on that altar both day and night continually.
[Exodus 30:7-8] And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresses the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it. And when Aaron lights the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.
Our bodies are the temple of God, and God has committed every single believer to burn incense (offer up prayers) upon the golden altar both day and night, both now and forever. We cannot burn incense (offer up prayer) upon this altar once a week. We must not forsake the altar within us. We must not forget to pray every day. We must not be so quick to stop praying.
As our bishop taught from Revelation 8:3-4, if we are struggling in our prayers we need to stand at the altar more often, and the more we stand at the altar much incense will be given unto us. But we must go prepared. When the angel stood before the altar, he came with a golden censer. The golden censer was made to hold incense. We must stand before the altar ready to pray fervently. When we struggle in prayer and stand at the altar ready the Spirit will help us pray. Glory be to God! He will not force us to pray, He will help our weakness.
[Romans 8:26-27] Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
If we stand at the altar that God has put within us ready to pray the Holy Ghost will help our weakness in prayer. But we must stand, not be shaken, not faint, and not be so quick to stop praying when we offer our prayer unto our God. Satan does not want God’s people to pray because when we pray we are a threat to the kingdom of darkness. When we pray, we prosper. We can see this in the prophet Daniel. Daniel was a man of prayer, and the devil knew that, and tried to keep the prophet from praying. It was satan that was working in the mind of the presidents and princes that made King Darius sign the decree against prayer. In the same way there are principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places that do not want us to pray. But we must be like the prophet Daniel and pray in the face of our enemies. Stand at your altar!
Bethel: The House of God
Where is God’s house? Is it a building made with human hands? Stephen, the holy martyr, testified to the Jews, “The Most High DWELLS NOT IN TEMPLES MADE WITH HUMAN HANDS.” Even our beloved apostle Paul, who heard these words come out of Stephen’s mouth, preached the same message the Gentiles saying, “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, DWELLS NOT IN TEMPLES MADE HANDS.” So where does God dwell, and what is His temple? Simple, our apostle wrote, “Know you not that YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD, and that the Spirit of God DWELLS IN YOU?” Many people today believe that God’s house, God’s temple, God’s Church is a brick, steel, or wooden building that is made with human hands. That is the reason the Jews stumbled at the words of Jesus saying, “Destroy THIS TEMPLE, and in three days I will raise it up.” Listen to the response of a carnal mind, “Fourty and six years was this temple in building, and will you rear it up in three days?” The apostle John when on to testify, “He spoke of the TEMPLE OF HIS BODY.” The Jews spoke of a temple made with human hands, but the Lord spoke of a temple that man did not make. To God be glory!
Our father David, King of Israel, wanted to build a house for our God, but Nathan prophesied unto our faher saying, “I will set up your SEED after you, which shall proceed out of your bowels, and I will establish His kingdom. HE SHALL BUILD A HOUSE FOR MY NAME, and I will stablish the throne of His kingdom forever.” That “Seed” that Nathan prophesied about WAS NOT SOLOMON, it was Christ Jesus, the Messiah. The Lord Jesus said, “Upon this rock I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH.” It is also written in the psalms, “Except THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE, they labor in vain that build it.” Our Lord was not talking about a building made with dead stones, but rather a building made with “lively stones” that “are BUILT UP A SPIRITUAL HOUSE” which are “the spirits of just men made perfect.” Glory be to God for the House, Temple, Church which the Messiah built, the gates of hell still have not prevailed against it as the Lord promised.

The Lust of the Eyes
Greetings in the name of Jesus our God & Messiah! I was just sitting here wondering what to write about, and I found something great to write about….the lust of the eyes. The eye is not evil in and of itself. In fact, when the Most High God formed man, the eye was good, very good. The eye receives visual information, but it is the mind that makes a choice if something is good or if it is evil. Many people have sinned against God through the lust of the eyes. It is written in Psalm 101:3, “I will set no wicked thing before my eyes.” The eye is not the problem, the problem is the mind that set the wicked thing before the eyes. When the mind understands what God loves, and what God hates then it is able to accept what is good, and reject what is evil. The only way this can be accomplished is if the mind is renewed. Our apostle told us not to be “conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Before we came to God, we spent years, and years of learning lies (false information), so our only hope is for someone to come and teach us the truth. Jesus said, “you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” When the truth comes it makes everything that is contrary to the truth a lie. It is the truth that renews our minds, and it is the only thing that can free us from the lust of the eyes. Praise God. This is why when we convert to the faith we must be taught the truth from the Ministry in order to renew our minds. We cannot settle for anything less than the truth. There are so many temptations that come through the eyes, for some people it is men/women, for others it is drugs/alcohol, to others it is money, and so forth. When we are taught the truth about what is right and what is wrong we can overcome all these temptations. Many married people today have false information in think they are okay because they have not physicaly committed adultery (laid with someone else besides the one they married), but Jesus said, “whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.” This is the truth, the right information that can set someone free from committing adultery inside and out, same thing with fornication, and rape. When the mind is renewed with truth it can overcome every lust of the eyes. If you are struggling with the lust of the eyes seek the truth of the matter and God will make you overcome any temptation of the eye. Grace to you from Jesus! Amen, and amen.
Sell All That You Have
I have given up all that I have because I love the Lord. Before the Lord knew me, I walked in total darkness, but now His glorious Gospel lights up my soul. I was destined to inherit death and hell, but now He has changed my destiny and has given me an inheritance of Life, and of an eternal Kingdom. When I was dead in my sins I smoked and got drunk, but now I offer my prayers as incense praying in the Spirit of the LORD of hosts. I lost many worldly friends when the Most High God drew me unto the Christ. When I was an enemy of God I was a branch of a “wild” olive tree, but He cut me out of that corrupt tree and grafted me into His “good” Olive Tree which is Jesus Christ. I may not be popular but thats alright, the Messiah is the Vine, I am one of His branches, and without Him I can do nothing!!
